Built on land once used for a racetrack and golf course, Seoul Forest is a large urban park of about 480,000 m². It has lawns, ponds, walking trails and an insect and botanical garden, with cherry blossoms, tulips and autumn leaves in season.

It is a short walk from the Seongsu café streets, so locals often grab a takeaway coffee and relax in the park. There is also an area with deer, popular with families.
